So today am classifying the different types of dancers in church....
THE LEG DANCERS:
These set of dancers just tap their legs in church no matter the rhythm produced.They either move their legs side by side as if in a rendition or move forward and backward.
THE HIT DANCERS:
These are people who dance only when their favourite part in the song sets in or when their favourite song is being sang during praise. The could just wait from the beginning of the song till the end provided the last verse is where their interest lies and then they start dancing.
THE PATRIOT DANCERS:
These are the unshakable set of people.If you like turn the drums upside down while playing, they will just be standing waiting for you to mind your business.I feel these people need prophecies to dance..like when they are told until they dance in church they would never prosper,then they will dance in church.The only difference between them and a monument is the church they are in.That moment when the instrumentalist(s) all decides to go rascal and the whole church is lit that is the time the decision making part of their brain tells them to sit.
THE RECEIVE DANCERS:
These are people who though swinging their body to and fro needs to receive some sort of anointing to dance properly and in their case some one from the church who is dancing so hard usually taps them.This tapping is the anointing because immediately after the tap,they start dancing like no tomorrow.
THE BUSYBODY DANCERS:
Now don't get me wrong,it is good to dance in the house of the Lord but there are some people who take it as a point of duty to make others like myself feel we need to get dancing lessons.These people dance with their spirit ,soul and body even at the slightest warming of the drums. The common thing about them is they usually dance off key and sometimes introduce cellular dance after they have exhausted their regular dance steps.Their role model is usually DAVID....'"i will dance like David dance''.
THE PROPHETIC DANCERS:
We all know prophets do not maintain a steady position while prophesying.Prophetic dancers are those who never for any reason maintain one position while dancing.But really why should they,who would notice their new dancing skills.This is the most important class because they metamorphose into a group dance and they feel it is their right to either block the passage in the middle or they circle in front of the altar displaying their dancing skills.
THE GUARDED DANCERS:
One thing that is common among these group is their dressing,they are either neatly dressed or overdressed.So they most certainly wave their hands or move their bodies in a very coded manner and bend at intervals..trust me the moment they bend,they deserve a gold medal because in their minds they have danced a whole lot.These people sometimes invite their classy friends to church or want to leave an impression in the mind of a new member so they as a number one rule, avoid staying close to the" busy body" or'' prophetic dancers'' to prevent being knocked down or any other weird reason.. Mehn you want to embarrass me with my package..no.These people actually have nice steps.
THE PARTNER DANCERS:
These set of people do not dance except they find a partner and this partner as a rule has to be their close friend so they could have a chance to point out the mistake of other dancers,criticize the praise singer, laugh and gossip over anything.
THE MYSTERIOUS DANCERS:
These are dancers who get tired just after shaking their head.One thing that is common among them:they do not know how to dance,so they hype the song from the intro and resort to sitting on their sit to dance,midway into the song.The special thing about them is, you cannot necessarily judge them; after all they hyped the song you are dancing to now.What is a hype without a good dancer or rather it takes a good dancer to know how to hype.
