Hello there, let me tell you a story; So, I am a medical student who loves to read, and because of that,  I got to a point where I assumed people should be humans first before being a Christian, and that really made sense.  I felt like a genius. Every decision I made was based on me being human not necessarily because God said I should. I mean, should you say the truth because God said you should? Nah, come on.  You are human, you should know this. So I will go ahead and say the truth because I am human first and in addition to that God also said I shouldn't so God's word is a bonus.
