TO THE GIRL IN LOVE

There is a time to let your life revolve round someone else but  today let your life revolve round you.

You have been through a lot all in "Love's" name and the idea of "patience".

It's time to live life and stop letting life live you.
This is to all the broken hearts who have made mistakes,lost themselves to self pity and set non-existent boundaries,who make themselves an object of scorn but go about with a smiling face.
It happens you wake up some days with no glimpse of how life that day will look like.

You get through some days a little better than the last but then you have days where you can't get up at all.
Woes of our mobile phones;one text and call to that someone you feel might make you important and your need's take over. 

The need to feel accepted,appreciated,adored and in one minute you forget your sanity to flattery.

You lessen your worth for dishonest words.
AND IN THAT MOMENT,THIS IS FOR YOU; 

Relax,as long as you are alive there is hope,so it's not so bad.

YOU ARE NOT ALONE.

We have made that call,texted the wrong person,woken up with regrets and met the wrong people. 

STOP WALLOWING IN PAINS.

You have a world filled with life waiting to happen,maybe it is delaying but it will happen.

You have books to read,degrees to earn, so relax.
In few years, you will look back and be grateful you went through all these.

Always remember it is okay to be alone.

SOMETIMES BEING A QUEEN DOES NOT DEMAND A KING,you get to be the king and the queen and build your kingdom.
So pick up your crown before it shatters,crown yourself and be the queen you are.

Dear Emmy in 2020,

You actually needed this today.

Emmy in 2016,i want to believe it will be okay.

I don't even know where my crown is but I'll look for it or better still buy a new one
